Designed to find members of the Anime Boston community on college campuses who would be interested in joining the Support Squad and volunteering for the convention. Initially for just the 2024 convention, the posters were so well received that an updated poster for the 2025 convention was asked for.

Going into 2024 the requirements for the poster were simply to include basic information about the support squad; what they do, what a volunteer can get in compensation for volunteering, comped cost of attendance, gift cards to spend on food, amongst other benefits. As well as making sure there were links to the signup page through a link and a QR code.

However as work got underway on the 2025 poster there was a request to better sell the experience to potential volunteers updating the language to better fit the Support Squads growing role inside the Anime Boston organization. The main focus being on showcasing the flexibility of the role in helping run the convention.

Overall the design assembled with a mix of hand made assets along with provided logos, images, brand colors, and typefaces. The visual requirements were open ended and allowed for several different iterations and poster styles during the 2024 project. Ranging from minimalist to information heavy and some more photographic, which ended up being the final design. Which allowed for an easy visual update when starting the 2025 poster design.
